Micromine?s GBIS solution provides a flexible and efficient
environment for storing, validating and accessing data from
diverse software applications and sources, making it ideal for
unique, two-pronged strategy, consisting of large and advanced
development projects, complemented by a number of smaller,
shorter-term projects.
The GBIS system supports the midtier explorer solution and has
an automated point of entry validation, standardised data
management workflows, a seamless integration capability with
Micromine, an integration capability with the geographic
information system, third-?party modelling and related
?applications, a security group-based access control and
client- ?specific training and system ?documentation.
The GBIS offers a flexible and scalable data model that can be
tailored to meet any exploration or mining requirement. ?It
has powerful tools for configuring database systems to user
requirements that produce documents that stand up to the
stringent validation standards required by the mining
industry. ?It can be audited throughout the data management
process, starting at the point of data capture, allowing the
